It’s a huge bag with a lot a lot a lot of pockets and space. It’s very comfortable and it has a lot of airflow to make sure I am secure and comfortable.
Love this bag. Have gone in around 3 hikes with this bag so far, it’s so lightweight I don’t even feel like I’m wearing a bag. Other bags have given me back issues, but with this bag my back doesn’t hurt, even on longer hikes. This bag holds everything I could possibly need and more. I carry a 3L bladder and it works great in the back pocket. The chest straps are adjustable which is awesome for girls with a chest so it doesn’t hit right at the middle of your boobs. My boyfriend saw how much I loved mine and he went and got himself one! We are planning a big 3 day hiking and camping trip in October and I believe this bag will hold up great. The added rain cover for this bag is great also! Cannot day enough good things about this bag!
Backpack is it really good quality. Quite a bit a room and all the pockets . Hoping to take it out on the trail this weekend.
This backpack is great! Perfect size for hiking! I can put and extra pair of cloths in, al my hiking gear, and water bottles in the side pockets. Plus there’s a slot for a camelback water system. I also use this for weekend trips. It’s perfect for overnight trips as well. The backpack is structured and has a thin cardboard feeling in the back. But don’t let that hinder the pack. This is perfect for you!
This item was perfect and the delivery was fast
This is my go to day-hiking bag. It would also be suited for a bag to commute to work or a travel bag.I like the weight, the feel, and the adjustment straps for snugness and comfort. It has three large zippered compartments and a pouch on each side to carry water bottles or others items. It’s everything one would expect in a quality bag. There are straps in the back to secure trekking poles on each side. Or, for easy access, you can secure them in the front one on each side.If I was using this as a work commuter bag or an overnight travel bag, I could easily get my 16-inch laptop, iPad Pro along with a change in clothes, light jacket or sweater, underwear, and a pair of shoes in it.It has an internal compartment for a water bladder. My water bladder holds 3-liters of water and this bag easily accommodates it. If you do not carry a water bladder, the compartment can be used to carry other items. On the bottom of the bag you will find a zippered compartment, there you will find the rain cover. It is rugged and of good quality.
I needed some back support for my books. It has been great on my back. It holds a lot and it’s compact. It can hold a 17″ HP laptop. Water bottles stay put in outside or in. Perfect sturdy bag. Not massive. Same size as a regular backpack. It snowed lightly. Kept my stuff dry. I ordered the 3rd on the second row, the blue 40 L.
Bought 2 of these Mountaintop 40 Liter bags to use as emergency/disaster bags. Both bags seem to be very well made and durable. They have good quality zippers, contain plenty of storage space and overall padding. These bags had a couple of surprises that the description really doesn’t make note of. They both have a plastic rain cover that is built into the bag at the bottom. It covers the whole bag and conveniently tucks away in its own pouch when it is not in use. However, the bag itself is pretty water resistant. The material it is made of repels water very well. Another thing not mentioned is that these bags have 3 pouch storage compartments not including the 2 side mesh pockets and the mesh pocket on the waist strap. The last thing that I noticed that wasn’t really mentioned is both bags have some kind of rigid insert built into the back section of the bag to help it sit upright and not slouch or fall over when it is sat down. For the price, features, and quality this bag is a great choice.
My 10 year old Obusforme backpack finally bit the dust last February. I wanted something with padded straps, light weight, and ripstop. I found this bag in my search and it was the perfect size and style I was looking for. I used this backpack recently and packed for a 10 day trip to Phoenix. I lived out of this bag, moved around a lot, and generally treated the bag like crap. It held up to my abuse with zero hiccups. There are plenty of pockets and sleeves and I had no issues with the zippers and pulls. I opt for bright colors on purpose so I can find my bags/luggage in a sea of black. While I am not a green guy I find this green to be trendy. I have an Oakley backpack that I carry around at work….I find this green monster to have better pocket placement and storage capacity than the Oakley bag which cost 3x as much.
I love this backpack! I purchased it solely for my trip to Thailand and it held up so well. All of the airlines I flew with accepted it as a carry on item which surprised me because it’s definitely bigger than I expected it to be. Traveling with just a backpack is seriously the way to go. I was able to fit several outfits, shoes, meds, toiletries, (and souvenirs on the way home) in this pack. It holds A LOT. I didn’t get to test out whether it was waterproof or not but it comes with a rain cover that is conveniently stored in the bottom of the backpack. There’s also a spot to attach your camelbak or other hydration pack so you can drink as you go. I highly recommend this to anyone needing a sturdy backpack!
